As a Program Assistant for Florida State University's study abroad program (FSU Florence), one of my main duties was to monitor and curate the program's social media channels, with a focus on Instagram and Facebook.

To the left is a screenshot of the FSU Florence's feed while under my team's direction. The main goal of this Instagram account is to promote the types of excursions and activities that are a part of life as an FSU student in Florence, Italy. The target audience for FSU Florence's Instagram is current, past, and future study abroad students.

I am highlighting this specific post due to the high volume of attention it received. It makes sense, the whole country of Italy was receiving high volumes of attention at this time! (Forza Italia!) It is very special to be in Italy when they win the Euro Cup; therefore, it was vital to promote this cultural event to future study abroad students.

This social media channel's target audience is primarily parents of current and future study abroad students. The directors instructed us to fill these posts with as many pictures as needed to capture the event coupled with a detailed and captivating caption.
